We’re Shindig, a small, passionate team of wedding styling and floral design specialists based in Selby, North Yorkshire. Since 2016 we’ve had the most wonderful privilege of helping over 1,200 couples, families and businesses create events they’ll never forget. And we genuinely love every single one.
Who we are
Shindig was founded on a simple belief: that every event, no matter the size or budget, deserves to be beautiful. We’re not a faceless hire company. We’re a team of creative, detail-obsessed people who care deeply about getting everything just right for you.
We’re based at our studio in Selby, where we love nothing more than welcoming couples in for a coffee, a browse through our prop collection and a proper chat about their vision. We’ve built our reputation on being warm, honest and genuinely easy to work with, and we’re incredibly proud of that.

Cristel Issatt
With over 10 years’ experience designing and styling weddings, I’m passionate about bringing each couple’s vision to life and creating celebrations that feel personal, beautiful, and unforgettable.
I created Shindig! to give couples the opportunity to have the wedding of their dreams on a realistic budget, without compromising on style or atmosphere. I believe weddings should feel authentic, joyful, and full of personality, not just look good on Instagram.
Shindig! was built for couples who don’t lose sight of what the day is really about: celebrating with the people they love most and throwing one hell of a party along the way.
Joanna Stephenson
I have over 7 years of experience creating and styling weddings and events. With a background in fashion and visual merchandising, I bring a fresh, design-led approach to floristry and overall wedding styling.
My love of colour, texture and new trends inspires everything I create, allowing me to design spaces and flowers that feel modern, stylish and completely personal.
What I love most about my job is getting to know each couple and creating something that truly reflects them.
I literally wake up so excited to get into the studio to be creative. I just LOVE it!
Megan Matthews
My journey into weddings began in South Africa, where I was surrounded by some of the most amazing celebrations. That’s where my passion for styling and storytelling through design really started, and it’s something I’ve carried with me
into every wedding I’ve worked on since.
From the initial stages of preparing and packing your wedding, to being on-site setting up and ensuring everything runs seamlessly on the day, I’m there every step of the way.
What I love most about my job is the emotion behind it all. Weddings aren’t just events they’re stories, memories, and once-in-a-lifetime moments. Being trusted to help shape that is something I never take lightly.

We believe everyone deserves a beautifully styled day, whatever their budget. There’s no minimum spend here, you choose exactly what you want and we’ll make it work.
One team, everything included
Fresh flowers, faux florals, prop hire and full styling, we do it all under one roof. No juggling multiple suppliers, no miscommunication. Just one lovely team who know your day inside out.
Completely bespoke
Nothing we do is off-the-shelf. Every single design, arrangement and quote is tailored specifically to you, your venue and your vision.
