We know that planning a wedding can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve designed our whole process to be as easy and enjoyable as possible. From your very first enquiry through to the morning after your big day, we’re with you every step of the way.
What to expect when you book with Shindig
Every event is wonderfully different, but here’s a guide to how things typically work when you plan your wedding styling with us:
1 / Initial Enquiry
Drop us a message via our contact form to check availability or ask anything you’d like to know. You can also download our Styling Guide to get a feel for what we offer before you get in touch.
2 / Book Your Consultation & Get a Quote
The best way to get an accurate quote is to come and see us in person at our Selby studio. We’ll work through your ideas together, show you our prop collection, pull colour palettes and even mock up your table styling so you can really visualise it. From there we’ll put together a bespoke, fully itemised quote. Not local? We’re happy to do an initial Zoom consultation instead, just book in online.
3 / Booking & Deposit
Once you’re happy with your quote and ready to go ahead, we’ll send over a booking form to secure your date and reserve your props. We only ask for a 20% deposit to confirm your booking.
4 / Six months to go...
We’ll invite you to book your follow-up consultation for any final tweaks to your styling and flowers. You can book this online too. Choose an in-person Final Consultation or a Touch Base Call via Zoom or phone, whichever suits you best.
5 / Six weeks to go...
Send us your final guest numbers and we’ll issue your Final Invoice along with our handy FAQ guide to put your mind at ease.
6 / One week to go...
We’ll liaise directly with your venue to confirm all delivery, set-up and collection times, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
7 / The Big Day
We’ll arrive at your venue and bring everything to life exactly as you’ve planned. We’ll carry out the turnaround during your day, and come back the morning after to collect everything. You just sit back, relax and soak up every magical moment.
